Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 September 2026

BakerBeats ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose your personal information when you visit bakerbeats.com.au, sign up for updates, or place an order. BakerBeats is a business of Geoff Wainwright (sole trader, ABN 15 228 331 403), based in Sydney, Australia. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

We only collect information we need to run the business and serve you. Depending on how you use the site, that can include your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, the details of your order, and any message you send us. If you join our list to hear about launches and drops, we collect your email address for that purpose.

When you pay, your card details are entered directly into our payment provider, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.

We may also collect basic technical information automatically, such as your device type and how you use the site, through cookies and similar tools. You can turn cookies off in your browser, though parts of the site may not work as well if you do.

How we use your information

We use your information to take and fulfil your orders, arrange delivery, respond to your questions, keep you updated about BakerBeats if you have asked to hear from us, and improve our products and service. We will only send you marketing messages if you have opted in, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link so you can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the providers we need to run the business, and only so far as they need it to do their job. These include Stripe, which processes payments, our delivery and postage partners, who need your address to get your cookies to you, and GoHighLevel, the platform that runs our website and stores our customer and order records. Some of these providers may store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure your information is handled securely wherever it is held.

We may also disclose information if we are required to by law.

How we store and protect it

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only for as long as we need it or as the law requires. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it where we are able to. Just email us and we will help.

Complaints

If you are concerned about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first and we will do our best to put it right. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
